Heather Hill wants to make sure that you’re prepared for your stay with us. Below are helpful resources to help make your transition smooth, as well as learn more about skilled nursing care.
We encourage you to bring personal items such as deodorant, toothbrush & toothpaste, electric razor, make-up and other items that will make your stay more comfortable.
Comforting items from home such as pillows, photos and personal memorabilia are also encouraged.
Please leave expensive items, jewelry and money with family or at home. If it is necessary to keep them at the facility, we can store them in the facilities safe.
Please advise our staff of any personal medical equipment you have at home (eg. wheelchair, cane, walker, breathing device)
Bring several sets of comfortable clothes including sweatpants, t-shirts and shorts without snaps or buttons.
Comfortable shoes that lace up or sneakers are encouraged. Shoes that slip on with a heel higher than one inch are not recommended as they can increase your risk of falling.
Feel free to bring your own personal pajamas, although we provide sleeping gowns for every resident. Slippers with non-skid soles are also recommended.
For reasons of personal safety to you and our other residents please advise our staff of any electronic devices you bring to our facility to keep in your room.
